Delete your account.

You can delete your eJukebox Music account, and everything stored with it, from inside the app in a few seconds. You do not need to email anyone or ring anyone.

The quick way

In the app.

  1. Open eJukebox Music.
  2. Tap the person icon at the top right of the home screen.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the sheet and tap Delete account.
  4. Read what it lists, then confirm.

It happens immediately. The app signs you out and clears its copy on that phone.

What gets deleted.

Everything we hold against your account, which is:

  • Your name and email address, as given to us by Apple, Google or Microsoft.
  • Which of those three you signed in with.
  • Your favourites and the order you put them in.
  • Your recent stations, and the stations you have hidden.
  • Your sort choice, your region and country, and the last station you played.
  • Your own star ratings.

It is deleted outright, not deactivated, and it cannot be undone. There is no retention period: the record is removed when you ask, not later.

Two things are not part of your account. Recordings are files on your phone that we never receive, so deleting your account does not touch them - remove them in the app, or by deleting the app. Star ratings are stored against a random code the app generated, never against you, so they carry no identity and remain; if you want those gone as well, ask us through the contact page.

If you no longer have the app

Ask us instead.

Deleting the app does not delete your account. If you have already removed it, or you would simply rather we did it, send us a message from the contact page from the email address you signed in with, and say that you want your eJukebox Music account deleted.

We will delete it and confirm by reply, within 30 days and usually the same week. We will not ask you to reinstall the app, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
